The Dupont Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC 2B) and the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) are co-hosting an at-large Council seat candidates debate THIS Monday, October 20th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the "Powell Room" in the Cosmos Club (2121 Mass. Ave. NW).

The debate is FREE and OPEN to the public!

The debate will feature the following SEVEN candidates: Kwame Brown, Michael Brown, Dee Hunter, Mark Long, Patrick Mara, Carol Schwartz, and David Schwartzman.

Please join us, and please post your proposed questions for the moderators!

The Dupont Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission (www.dupontcircleanc.net) will be hosting a debate between D.C. Ward 2 Council candidates Jack Evans and Cary Silverman.

The debate will be co-sponsored by the Dupont Circle Citizens Association and held at the Phillips Collection auditorium (21st and R Streets NW) on August 7, 2008 from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.

The debate moderator will be Davis Kennedy of the Current newspapers.

We want to make sure that the debate answers YOUR questions, and Mr. Kennedy has welcomed the idea as moderator.
